It’s time to check in once again in our ongoing series of blogs chronicling Andrew’s career success through his involvement and now employment with WOW In-Sync.
Andrew is continuing his work as an assistant administrator at WOW. His responsibilities have grown substantially as he develops his already impressive skill set on an ongoing basis.
Andrew recently celebrated his birthday, which happened to coincide with his first annual CPR, first aid, and blood-born pathogen training. Through WOW’s internal professional development initiatives, Andrew participated in the full 4-hour certification process and displayed an exceptional grasp of key procedures and interventions. Andrew recently reflected on the process, “I got to learn new things about saving lives, how to know if someone is having either a heart attack or a stroke… we also practiced CPR for adults and infants. We had to do 30 compressions and give 2 breathes… now that I got my card for that, I am officially CPR/First Aid/AED trained. Thanks to the people at WOW.” Certifications such as CPR are key milestones in building a robust employment profile for the future. Along with his success at WOW, Andrew continues to arm himself for continued career advancement throughout his future.
Beyond CPR, these days Andrew is more tied-in than ever to our operations at WOW. Through training sessions with Vice President Robbie Harris and others, Andrew has taken on a number of new roles and responsibilities.

Harris reflects on Andrew’s growth:
“Andrew continues to mature professionally and consistently demonstrates a desire to take on new responsibilities and learn more about the administrative functions of WOW. I’ve worked with Andrew on a couple of bulk mailing projects. He was responsible for accuracy, neatness, quantity, and timeliness. I’ve trained him on using the scanner for the documentation of certain records, which includes not only being able to operate it, but troubleshooting and correction issues. These are just a couple of examples of his growing skill sets and roles at WOW, in addition to his regular filing and confidentiality duties.”

Andrew’s responsibilities have expanded to include filing, printing tracking docs, scanning and filing tracking docs, tracking folder prep, uploading service docs to the database, roster and document reconciliations and error reporting, and checking/sending mail as well as running general errands within the office. Andrew is gearing up to add video compression to his assignments as well. In total, WOW is serving close to 160 people and he is managing all of the documentation processing for this large client base.
President Karen Lynn adds,
In addition to feeling very proud of what Andrew has accomplished, we have also simply enjoyed having him as a part of our team. That’s why we were so excited to celebrate his birthday with a small work party just a couple weeks ago. In addition to notable professional growth, we’re glad that Andrew has gained a solid group of caring friends and co-workers. After all, there is no replacement for a strong and solid network! We’re glad that Andrew can count on his for years to come.
