If you know me, you know that I detest cold weather. But, the one saving grace for me is the comfort and joy of my fireplace.
Here's a friendly reminder that if you haven't had your fireplace or chimney cleaned or inspected in a while, you might want to consider it before you light it up this season. The cost isn't awful ($200 - $300, on average) and what it could save you is probably priceless.
