There is a bit of relief this week as we can look at saving at least five cents at the pump. The state average is $3.49, Atlanta is $3.51 and, in Tucker, the cheapest gas is $3.39.
According to CNN, the reason why gas prices may be dropping is because our economy is getting weaker. More people are losing jobs, business are not doing well and it has been said that we are headed towards another recession. Most people wouldn't even know the first one was over.
What is becoming very predictable is Sam's Club offering the best deal. The downside is that you need a membership to do business there. Their regular gas is $3.39 cents, which is the same as last week. The average in Tucker is between $3.44 - $3.47, so you're saving a few more pennies than last week. Remember, prices are subject to change through out the day.
