Cheapest Gas in Tucker, August 15

More relief at the pump.

The cost of fuel has gone down quite a bit this week in Tucker. The cheapest gas is exactly .20 cents less than last week. Statistics are showing that gas prices are falling and they may continue to drop. In Atlanta, the average cost of fuel is $3.53, the state average is $3.50 and the national average is $3.60. These numbers compared to last week show almost a ten cents difference.

The Chevron stationon Cooledge Road, has the cheapest gas this week. The cost of regular fuel for them is $3.39. In case they run out of gas, head over to Sam’s Club; their regular fuel is $3.49. Everywhere else is averaging between $3.51 - $3.55. Remember, prices are subject to change through out the day.

Gas Saving Tip: Use alternate roads when they are safer, shorter or straighter. Compare traveling distance differences - remember that corners, curves and lane jumping requires extra gas. The shortest distance between two points is always straight. Use the MapQuest cheap gas tool; it will help you locate the cheapest gas closest to your home or work.
