A brief remembrance ceremony took place this morning at the DeKalb County Public Safety Complex in Tucker to honor the victims of 9/11 on the 12th anniversary of the attacks.
Present were local government officials, including CEO Lee May and District 2 Commissioner Jeff Rader.
There were no speeches; only a flag ceremony, a wreath laying, and a moment of silence.
