This 4-week course, taught by Brook Hewitt, offers a unique curriculum for teaching photography that will enable you to not only learn the basic settings and rules of photography but will leave you with the files to print a self published book of your work at the end of the four week session.
Each student will need to bring:
1. A dslr camera - A digital single-lens reflex camera (digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that uses a mechanical mirror system and pentaprism to...or in real people terms, a camera that you can control the settings. It doesn't have to be a pro model just more than a point and shoot.
2. Random and various action figures, fruit, or inanimate objects you would like to photograph
3. If the student has a laptop or nice tablet, that would be great but not required.
4. Each student will need their own memory card
Brook Hewitt has 20+ years teaching experience with a concentration in art. She has had a successful business as a freelance photographer for the last four years and is now combining her two loves, teaching and photography.
