Parents and children, meet J.P. Cox, writer, illustrator and award-winning teacher, who will present her new children’s book Millicent the Magnificent Hen at Zone of Light Studio on Sunday, October 12, 2-4 PM. During her book reading and art workshop for children, Ms. Cox will demonstrate her illustration style and speak about the value of awakening one’s own individuality and creativity. Children will participate in a hands-on art activity.
