Patch Picks: Celebrating Cinco de Mayo

Grab the beer bottle opener and break out the sombrero; Cinco de Mayo is here once again, celebrating the time when Mexico defeated the French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. To commemorate Mexican pride day, Tucker Patch has a few suggestions on places to go to honor the ocassion.

Head down Northlake Parkway to join the party at Twisted Taco, eat great food and enjoy drink specials. They will have live music and entertainment all night in celebration of the Mexican holiday. They have already started the countdown to Cinco de Mayo on their website.

will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo by having margarita specials, delicious entrées and of course excellent music. The restaurant is likely to be crowded but it's worth the wait.

They have some of the best Mexican food you could ask for. Using fresh ingredients,  they have great dishes and the service is excellent. They also handle take-out orders.

will be fully decorated in celebration of Mexican pride. Enjoy a delicious dinner while downing Coronas. You can also sit on the patio and enjoy some of their tasty fajitas. They do not offer reservations, but can acommodate large parties for dinner. Call the manager in advance with any questions.
