Readers' Choice: Yum Yum Thai Is Best Asian Restaurant

An old favorite got the majority of votes in this week's Readers' Choice poll for Best Asian Restaurant: which has been around for longer than other similar eateries in the area, got 27 percent of the vote, comfortably ahead of the rest.

Interestingly, a restaurant that wasn't on the list of choices received several favorable comments. L'Thai, an organic place on Lawrenceville Highway near the Gwinnett County line, was mentioned by readers as being a worthy contender. "It's an awesome Thai restaurant!" wrote a reader named Katherine. Trish Goodwin said on our Facebook page: "L'Thai is my favorite too," and Jen Burkhart wrote that "L'Thai is not on the list but that is a fave and it's organic!"

Yum Yum Thai will be getting the Patch prize for the week, including a framed certificate for the wall and a special decal for the window!
