Dunwoody Mortgage Services, Inc. recently named Rodney S. Shaffer as a Loan Officer for the firm.  He originates mortgage loans for customers seeking to purchase homes or to refinance existing mortgages.

 Mr. Shaffer holds a Georgia mortgage origination license.  He works with Clay Jeffreys, Senior Loan Officer, and Paul Busino, founder and president of the firm.

“Rodney brings a strong work ethic and excellent customer service experience to his position with our firm,” said Mr. Jeffreys.  “We can count on him to find ways to deliver home loans that work best for our clients.  He really enjoys helping people obtain mortgage solutions that best fit their personal situations and long-term goals.”

Since moving to Atlanta in 1991, Mr. Shaffer has worked in the information technology, real estate management, and financial management industries.

Mr. Shaffer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.   He and his wife April are the parents of two children and live in the Northlake area of Atlanta.  Active in his church and in the community, Mr. Shaffer enjoys water sports and cooking on his Big Green Egg.
