Happy 104th Birthday Mr. Roy

Roy Braswell of Powder Springs Just celebrated his 104th birthday. He was born on March 20th, 1909. Mr. Roy, (that's what everyone calls him), was still driving a car when he was 100 years old. He's been a Braves and Falcons fan for many years. He still has all his mental facilities, although his hearing is going. If you're willing to sit and listen for a while you'll hear some fascinating stories from a good man that's led a long life. When asked how he has lived so long he'll tell you,"No drinking, no smoking and no cussing." Now a days people want to eat healthy and exercise to live longer. Mr. Roy eats eggs for breakfast, and eats whatever he wants. So I don't put a lot of stock into what all the experts say. Are any of them 104? Mr. Roy's a gentle man with a strong faith in Christ. He believes in loving everyone and treating people right. He doesn't judge a man by his skin color, but by his actions. I'm lucky to have him as a father In-Law. We just had his birthday party at Piccadilly's and had about 50 people attend.

I'll keep you posted and take another picture on his 105th birthday.
