According to the National Weather Service, much of the region may see excessive heat as well as scattered thunderstorms, prompting the issuance of a "hazardous weather outlook." Residents in Woodstock-Towne Lake and the surrounding area are encouraged to keep hydrated, stay indoors when possible, and avoid leaving pets and people in locked vehicles. (Cobb County Courier)
