2 Arrested in Shooting Death of Smoke 911 Store Clerk
The two suspects, who are accused of killing Enrique "E.J." Delos-Reyes, were apprehended on Friday in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

Two people have been arrested in Louisiana in connection to the fatal shooting of a store clerk at Smoke 911 in Woodstock.

Justin Clay White, 25, of College Park and Dominique Rashad Stevens, 22, of Atlanta, were nabbed on Friday in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, by agents with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, the Woodstock Police Department said on Monday.
Both have been charged with murder in the death of Enrique “E.J.” Delos-Reyes, Jr., a 20-year-old store clerk who was fatally wounded during an alleged armed robbery attempt.

Officers responded to an armed robbery call around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at Smoke 911, located at 8265 Highway 92.
Once they arrived onto the scene, officers were met by a witness who said that, as he walked into the store, two men allegedly followed him into the store and tried to hold up the place, Woodstock police previously said.
Delos-Reyes, was shot once, but the witness was not injured. The clerk was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Woodstock police detectives and Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents worked closely with investigators in other metro Atlanta agencies throughout the investigation.
Investigators also believe White and Stevens may also be connected to numerous armed robberies in as many as five counties in the metro Atlanta area, Woodstock police said.
“This case is an outstanding example of our citizens, the media, and law enforcement agencies working together to bring offenders to justice,” said Woodstock Police Chief Calvin Moss. “Our thoughts and prayers remain with E.J.’s family and we hope that these arrests bring some level of comfort to them in this difficult time.”
In its investigation, Woodstock police received assistance from Atlanta Police Department, Georgia State Patrol, Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office, Hiram Police Department, Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana Sheriff’s Office, Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, Kennesaw Police Department, Cobb County District Attorney’s Office, Metro Atlanta Crime Stoppers, Cobb County Police Department, Newnan Police Department, College Park Police Department, Suwanee Police Department, FBI Atlanta Field Office, U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Georgia Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
White and Stevens remain in the custody of the Jefferson Parish, Louisiana Sheriff’s Office, pending extradition back to Cherokee County for court proceedings. Additional charges on White and Stevens may be forthcoming.
