4 Indicted in Armed Robbery of College Students
Police say two Morehouse College students were robbed of money, jewelry and a cell phone at an apartment complex in southwest Cherokee.
WOODSTOCK, GA -- Four men have been indicted in connection to the armed robbery of two Morehouse College students in Cherokee County.
A Cherokee County grand jury last week returned indictments on one count each of armed robbery for Khari Rashaad Latimer, Ceddrick Jamaine Turner, Erick Christopher Brooks and Dearius Keyvawn Waldon.
The four are accused of robbing at gunpoint the two students of an undisclosed amount of money, jewelry and a cell phone midday Friday, April 8 in the breezeway of an apartment complex at 465 Gregory Lane in unincorporated Acworth, a warrant states.

The total value of the property stolen was about $1,400, the warrant notes.
According to the indictment, the men used a pistol to rob the two male students of their possessions during the incident.

All four suspects are set to be arraigned at 9 a.m. July 21 in Courtroom 2D at the Cherokee County Justice Center.
