JoJo's Happy to Be Part of the Woodstock Community

Hello!

I am JoJo. I came from China more than six years ago.  When I arrived, I didn't know ANY English.  I was able to sell my husband's rugs with him because I learned "No problem!" "Take it now!" and "I give you good discount." I only learned these three sentence, and I sold more than him!

He helped me a lot. I only come to America because he is here.

He taught me English, and he helped me go to massage therapy school. In China I was trained in Chinese herbal medicine.

He has good friends in Woodstock, so we chose here. We like Woodstock very much. The people here are very nice, not like the cutthroat people in China.

My massage business, JoJo's Massage, is doing very well. I have many nice, repeat customers.

I also meet other massage therapy workers. They teach me English, and I teach them Chinese massage. When they need a massage, they always come see me. This cannot happen in China. In China, workers in the same job try to kill each other's business. They would never think to help each other. I like the American way better.
