Buffalo's Fundraiser To Benefit Woodstock Officer's Son
Ezra King, 6, has been battling cancer since he was 18 months old.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Woodstock Police Department is continuing to fundraise for Ezra King, the 6-year-old son of a Woodstock police officer who is battling cancer.
Brittany Page, the Woodstock Police public information officer, told Patch in a past interview Ezra has been fighting cancer since he was 18 months old, when a tumor was found on his brain. Ezra's father is officer Travis King.
Ezra has endured treatments and various forms of chemotherapy, and his family is now seeking treatment outside of Georgia, according to a news release Tuesday.

The Woodstock Public Safety Foundation and Buffalo's Cafe are partnering to help with frequent travel costs.
All of the lunch and dinner proceeds made on Feb. 28 at Buffalo's Cafe in Woodstock (12035 Highway 92) and at the restaurant's Canton location (1625 Ball Ground Highway) will benefit Ezra and his family, the release said.
Hours of operation are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Sunday. The eatery is open 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
"We sincerely thank our friends at Buffalo’s Café for their continued support of Woodstock public safety personnel," police said in the release.
