Cadence Fair Comes To Downtown Woodstock

The free event will feature music, BBQ vendors and craft beer from Reformation Brewery, and will be held Oct. 7.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The folks behind the popular BBQ and Brews events will partner with Reformation Brewery to bring a similar celebration to downtown Woodstock. Cadence Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, and feature music, retail vendors, barbecue vendors, craft beer from the Woodstock-based brewery and a children's area.

The event, set for 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., is free for the public and will feature three music stages hosting various acts and events (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app). The lineup for each stage includes:

Resurgens Orthopedic Community Stage (Elm Street Event Green)

  • 10:30 a.m. to noon - Ezra Jacob
  • 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.- Highbeams
  • 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Chip McGuire Band
  • 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. - BBQ awards
  • 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. - Davin McCoy

Neighborhood stage:

  • 10 a.m. - Cornhole tournament
  • noon to 1:30 p.m. - Lathemtown Poets Society
  • 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. - The Hearsay
  • 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. - Kira Annalise
  • 6 p.m. - Whiskey Dixie

Vendor applications as well as forms to take part in the barbecue competition and to volunteer are available online and can be downloaded here. If you want the VIP experience, be prepared to fork over $30 for a ticket.

This tickets allows you to access reserved space inside the Northside amphitheater for the end of the festival party, two drink tickets, a catered dinner from Four 41 South BBQ, private restrooms and a few other surprises. Tickets can also be purchased online.
