Charity Golf Tournament Raises Funds For Shop With A Hero

The Woodstock Public Safety Foundation's second annual tournament will be held Oct. 3 at the Bradshaw Golf Club.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The Woodstock Public Safety Foundation will host its second annual Charity Golf Tournament next week to raise money to help less fortunate children have a bright holiday season.

The fundraiser will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3 at Bradshaw Golf Club, which is at 3030 Bradshaw Club Drive in Woodstock. A few spots are open for the registration, so residents who love to golf in the crisp air are encouraged to join the foundation for a great cause (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Tee-off is at 9:30 a.m. and the registration fee for a team of four is $300. All proceeds from next week's tournament will benefit the annual Shop with a Hero program, an initiative in which Woodstock officers and firefighters take underprivileged children shopping for Christmas presents. More than 750 children have benefited from the program since 2011.
