Cherokee Chamber Hosting Leadership Conference
The Leadership Symposium will feature four speakers who will share information to be used both on the job and in life.
CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA — The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a one-day leadership conference on Wednesday, Aug. 28 with tickets available to both Chamber members and the public. The Chamber’s ‘Leadership Symposium’, hosted by Reinhardt University, will be held at the Falany Performing Arts Center on the university campus in Waleska.
“The Leadership Symposium will feature four speakers who will share thought provoking information to be used both on the job and in life,” remarked Chamber Chairman John Barker, President of Delphi Global Technology.
Speakers will include Walter Marques, Leadership Coach, Trainer and Speaker from the John Maxwell Team; Harlan Hammack, Business and Leadership Coach, IB4e Coaching; Danielle Donehew, Executive Director, Women’s Basketball Coaches Association; and Tory Johnston, VP of Sales and Marketing, Chattanooga Bakery, Inc. – maker of the world-famous MoonPie.

"The Chamber is excited to partner with Reinhardt University for the third consecutive year on this impactful one-day high energy event that provides opportunities for seasoned leaders to refocus while also encouraging emerging leaders to better grasp their leadership potential. Continuous development of Cherokee County’s array of leaders - business, government, civic, cultural, faith based, etc. - is vital as our community works diligently to remain at the top of its game," shared Chamber President & CEO Pam Carnes.
The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast with the final wrap-up at 3:30 p.m. An optional campus tour will follow. The cost is $60 for Chamber members and $85 for future members and includes continental breakfast, lunch, and two networking/snack breaks.
