Cherokee County Fair Opens
From hot dogs to face painting, organizers tell Patch viewers what to expect this year.
The opened Tuesday night. Among the highlights at this year's fair: food, shows, amusement rides, the Miss Cherokee County Fair Pageant featuring the reigning Miss Georgia.
This afternoon, elementary, middle and high school students and staff get in free with their student ID and this ticket.
Admission is $1 for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old and $4 for people between the ages of 13 to 64. Children under 6 years old get in free. Seniors, those who are at least 65 years old, pay $1.
