Here are the top five stories in Woodstock-Towne Lake today:

1. According to a study by SmartAssset, Cherokee County has ranked seventh out of 10 on a list of counties in Georgia with the highest per capita wealth. The study stated that Cherokee's per capita investment income was $9,863 and medium home value was $372,917. The per capita income was $56,278. See more details at the link. An independent investigation spanning two decades has rocked the foundation of the Southern Baptist Church, which has nearly 14 million members. Roughly 750 names of alleged abusers were released last week by the SBC, which includes details and links to news stories covering some of the cases.
