Cherokee County Seeks New Firefighters
Applications must be completed by Thursday, April 20, and all candidates must attend a mandatory orientation session.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The application process for new recruits for Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services is now open.
Applications must be completed online by Thursday, April 20, and can be filled out by visiting the county's website.
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver’s license. Applicants must attend only one of the mandatory fire department orientation seminars. You will not be eligible to continue in the hiring process if you do not attend one of these sessions.

Be prepared to attend a mandatory orientation session, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 21 or Monday, April 24. The session will be held at the Cherokee Fire Training Complex, located at 3985 Holly Springs Parkway in Holly Springs.
All correspondence will be through email. Candidates should receive an orientation notice email from the Human Resources Department of the fire department within four business days of submitting their applications.
