Cherokee Sheriff's Deputies Recognized For Service

Three deputies and one civilian employee were recognized at Tuesday’s Cherokee County Commission meeting at the county administration building for "going above and beyond their everyday service to the community," the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

Deputies Michael Rusher and Robert Slover received Life Saving Awards.

Deputy Cody Jones received the Sheriff’s Commendation Award and Cherokee County Fleet Manager Mike Dupuis received a Sheriff’s Unit Citation. 

Chief Deputy Vic West presented the individuals the awards in front of Cherokee County Commissioners and the public attending the meeting.
