Couple Serves Kids Farm Fresh Fun
Nichelle and Tim Stewart, the owners of Rockin' S Farms and weekly vendors at the Woodstock Farmers Market, offer ongoing Farm Camps to help local children learn where their food comes from.
Rockin' S Farms, owned and operated by couple Nichelle and Tim Stewart, is not only a place where local families can get their fresh produce, but also a working farm where children can now develop a respectful appreciation for their food.
The Stewarts hold seasonal farm camps in which kids get real hands-on experience with picking their own produce, determining what's ripe and learning (from seed to harvest) how their food is grown.
"We learn where our food comes from, and harvest things for lunch and snacks," Nichelle said of the camps. "We also feed and water horses, goats and chickens, learn about honey bees and earthworms, and tons more."
