Deputies Tie Entering Auto Suspects To Another Case
Police believe the pair shattered the window of a vehicle at the Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Trails and stole a purse.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The two people sheriff's investigators believe used a stolen credit card at a Woodstock Target store have been linked to another incident near Holly Springs.
The Cherokee Sheriff's Office notes the latest incident was reported on Friday, Jan. 6.
According to an incident report released by the department, a purse was taken from a car parked at the Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Trails along Sixes Road. The victim told deputies she and her husband went for a ride on the trails just before 11 a.m. and when they returned, they noticed the driver's side window of the Toyota Prius had been shattered.

Along with her purse, the victim told police her driver's license and multiple credit and debit cards were missing. Her husband informed police that his cell phone had also been removed from the car.
According to the report, the victim called police a short time later to report that her credit card had been used at Walmart and a Macy's store.

Sheriff's office investigators were able to capture the suspects on camera using the card at Walmart on Highway 92 at Trickum Road in Woodstock.
Police believe the same suspects were behind another entering auto case reported hours earlier on the same date at the sheriff's office's Oak Grove Precinct. Following that incident, police captured the two suspects on surveillance cameras at Target on Highway 92 and RaceTrac on Ridgewalk Parkway.

The male and female pictured were described as possibly being between 40 and 50 years old. The suspects' vehicle appears to be a black Dodge Avenger with aftermarket wheels, the sheriff's office added.
