Etowah Fights to Stay Atop 5-AAAAA Standings
Here's what's happening in high school athletics in Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch on April 13.
In a battle at the top of Region 5-AAAAA play, Lassiter (13-6, 4-1), who sits in second place, travels to Georgia’s fifth-ranked Etowah (14-5, 5-0) for a baseball game that could have huge implications to end-of-year seeding and the state tournament.
Lassiter just beat Marietta on Monday and has won its last five games. Etowah beat Hillgrove, 17-16, on Saturday, but is reeling a bit after losing two of its last three games.
