Cherokee County’s young people stand up for the 27 Million Slaves in the world.
The Reach Student Gathering presents “27 Million, a Night for Freedom”
Canton, GA, May 20th, 2012: As a part of the 72 Days For Freedom Campaign, started by Atlanta’s own Passion City Church & Passion Conferences, the Reach Student Gathering (the student ministry of FaithPointe Church) will hold an event to raise awareness of the 27million slaves across the world and to raise money for the war on modern day slavery in our backyard of Atlanta. There will be live music, film, games, giveaways, and fun while addressing these very real issues. The event will be held at FaithPointe Church at 5101 Old Hwy 5 Canton, GA 30115 on May 20th, 2012 at 6pm. For more information about the event you can visit www.ReachATL.com
Atlanta is a prime hub in the US for sex trafficking. The average age of trafficked women in Atlanta is 14 years old. Local ministry Wellspring Living helps to rescue women from a life of slavery and give them a second chance to achieve their full potential. Wellspring Living will be represented at the event.
The Reach Student Gathering is a once a month gathering that usually meets on the second Sunday night of each month where ANY local church can bring their students (Ages13-25) to have fun at this one of a kind gathering of young people. Our sole purpose is to bring the young people of Cherokee county a positive event that will change their life.
