2nd Annual "Louisiana Saturday Night"

Thinking of where you might eat out Saturday Night?  Please come and enjoy Charles Herd’s fantastic chicken and sausage gumbo, salad, french bread, bread pudding and caramel sauce, including tea or lemonade for only $10/person.  WHAT A DEAL!!  Don’t say, “Well my children won’t eat gumbo.”  No worries, pizza and concessions will be sold separately downstairs just for those special ones!

Why come?  Our annual event is a fundraiser for the Sequoyah Jr. Chiefs, 7th grade Gold team.  All monies raised will help offset travel expenses to the Cal Ripken Experience in Mrytle Beach, SC.  Thank you to all that supported this event last year.  Our team was 5-2 in Cooperstown!  That was a baseball experience of a lifetime.

Don’t miss this Saturday night!  Great music will be provided for adults upstairs and the children downstairs.  This is a family oriented event and only occurs once a year!  This weekend is actually Mardi Gras in New Orleans, with Mardi Gras day (Fat Tuesday) on March 8th.  Come visit the Chiefs at the Bradshaw Farm Clubhouse and pretend you are in the “Big Easy”.  We do ask that all children are supervised by their parents.  Don’t forget a little extra cash for the 50/50 Raffle….you just might be the lucky winner!

Lastly, if you really are busy and can’t make the evening, no worries, you can pre-order your quart of gumbo for just $15 and a pan of bread pudding for only $10.  Take the Mardi Gras experience home with you!  All pre-orders need to be received by Friday, March 4th.  Please email your pre-sale orders to sequoyahjrchiefs@yahoo.com.  In an attempt to gather a head count for the dinner, would you please take a minute and email me your family name and the number of people eating gumbo and the number of people for pizza?  Email dinner participation at charles.herd@att.net.
