The Christmas Jubilee and the Parade of Lights honor the community of Woodstock and celebrate the holidays. The Sequoyah High School Women's Choir kicks off the event at 5:15 p.m. The parade begins at 5:30 at the old Walmart/Furniture Express parking lot at Ga. 92 and rolls north along Main Street to Woodstock Elementary School and Mill Road.
After the parade, you can hang out in Downtown City Park for food, shopping, and further festivities, including Santa checking wish lists and taking photos in the gazebo. Find out who takes home the prize for best holiday float and original Float. Cheer the winners of the Woodstock Citizens of the Year Awards. Roast marshmallows while watching the Downtown City Park tree lighting. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the Woodstock Jaycees' Christmas assistance program.
