The city of Woodstock is hosting an open house and dedication ceremony at The Chambers at City Center, the new location for the city council meetings. The open house is from 5-6:30 pm with the dedication ceremony from 6:30-7:30 pm, followed by the regular meeting of the city council at 7:30 pm. Formerly the Woodstock Community Church and part of the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village, the facility is named for former mayor and city clerk, Evelyn Whitmire Chambers.
