Fallen Power Pole, Lines Close Holly Springs Parkway

HOLLY SPRINGS, GA -- Holly Springs Parkway between Stoney Creek Parkway and Fox Creek Boulevard is shut down due to power pole and lines that have fallen in the roadway.

This segment of the road is located south of Toonigh Road.

Cherokee County officials say the road will be closed for the next four to five hours while crews remove the structures from the thoroughfare.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area and find an alternate route. Return to Patch for updates.
