  1. Make plans for a Family Fun Night in Woodstock this Thursday! Every third Thursday of each month in 2022, Downtown Woodstock will host a family-friendly themed night of activities, a costume contest, trivia, and a free movie on the Woodstock Arts Event Green. This month is all about superheroes! Vendors and merchants will have multiple games, projects, and food/drinks available. "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is the featured movie. The event begins at 5 p.m. and will go on until 9 p.m., with the movie beginning at 7 p.m. (Downtown Woodstock via Facebook)
  2. Cowboy Lifestyle Network featured Woodstock's Kurt Lee Wheeler for its Music Mondays column. A local legend, Wheeler shared what music means to him as well as what it can bring to the community of Woodstock. "I'm not trying to make it big. My mission in life has always been to strengthen, support, and sustain those around me to be the best they can be.   4. Police were searching for a missing, runaway teen out of Woodstock in the early morning hours Monday. Thankfully, 15-year-old Cayden Cotton has been found safe as of early Monday afternoon. No details were given about where Cotton was found. (11Alive.com WXIA)

  • Downtown Woodstock culinary camp of Leading Ladder is hosting a bake sale at the Leaning Ladder (behind the gazebo) this Friday, Jun. 17 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Proceeds will go to a community nutrition project that these campers will take up in the fall.
