Investigators Work To Find Cause of Woodstock House Fire
A two-story home in the Brookshire subdivision suffered significant damage in the fire that started Friday evening.

The Woodstock Fire and Rescue Department continues to probe what caused a fire at a home last week in the Brookshire subdivision.
The agency, along with Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services, responded to the fire at 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28 at a home on Keeneland Avenue. Once crews arrived onto the scene, they found flames and smoke from the attic of the two story home.
Firefighters ”made a rapid interior attack” and prevented the fire from consuming the lower part of the house, Woodstock fire said in a press release. The home suffered “significant damage” to the attic and second floor, but no injuries were reported by the occupants or those who responded to the blaze.
