Johnny Rockets To Open Restaurant in Woodstock

The newest location will be in the food court at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta.

Johnny Rockets, an international restaurant franchise that offers food and fun emblematic of American culture, will open its newest restaurant in Woodstock.

The eatery will open in the food court at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, which is at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway. A grand opening celebration will take place 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 26, the company said in a press release.

This is the 13th Johnny Rockets to open in an outlet center, “demonstrating the global brand’s success in unique shopping venues,“ the company added.

Joining more than 330 locations worldwide, this Johnny Rockets expands the brand’s presence in metro Atlanta and marks the sixth location in Georgia.

“In recent years, outlet centers have garnered success for Johnny Rockets based on these shopping centers’ proximity to major metropolitan cities and consumer access to top name brands,” said James Walker, president of operations and development for Johnny Rockets. “Through our relationship with Horizon Group Properties, we look forward to celebrating the grand opening of Johnny Rockets at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, and believe our franchise partner’s expertise in this space will lead to future expansion in outlet centers nationwide.”

In addition to the newest Johnny Rockets restaurant in the Atlanta area, Horizon Group Properties — the outlet mall’s developer — owns and operates Johnny Rockets at the Outlet Shoppes at Oshkosh in Wisconsin.

The Johnny Rockets menu features all-American favorites, including hamburgers made with 100 percent domestic farm-raised beef, crispy American fries, classic sandwiches and rich, delicious hand-spun shakes and malts. In addition to the classic American fare, the 1,768-square-foot restaurant provides an “engaging experience” that includes a soda fountain, patio dining, music and ketchup smiley faces.

Included in Thursday’s grand opening celebration is an tour of the restaurant, a benefit Must Ministries and a ribbon cutting with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce that will take place at 2 p.m.
