1. Cherokee County deputies have arrested a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend in Woodstock. Witnesses say the suspect, 24-year-old Brakus Golden, shot the 25-year-old victim at a home on King Arthur Drive Sunday and then fled the scene. Marietta police apprehended Golden on Monday morning and transported him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (11Alive.com WXIA)

5. A Cherokee County deputy rescued a baby deer that was trapped in a fence over the weekend. A resident near a home on Wiley Bridge Road first noticed the fawn stuck in the fence on Sunday and alerted the authorities.
