  1. Cherokee County deputies have arrested a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's boyfriend in Woodstock. Witnesses say the suspect, 24-year-old Brakus Golden, shot the 25-year-old victim at a home on King Arthur Drive Sunday and then fled the scene. Marietta police apprehended Golden on Monday morning and transported him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (11Alive.com WXIA)

  5. A Cherokee County deputy rescued a baby deer that was trapped in a fence over the weekend. A resident near a home on Wiley Bridge Road first noticed the fawn stuck in the fence on Sunday and alerted the authorities. The fawn was rescued without injury and reunited with its mother, who was waiting nearby. (WSB Atlanta)
