Music Festival Planned For Downtown Woodstock
Tracks On Main is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 13, and will feature 14 bands on three stages.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- If you are still bummed about the city of Woodstock not hosting its annual Summer Concert Series due to the construction of its new amphitheater, then an event in August could drag you out of your blues.
The city, along with Main Street Woodstock, will roll out a one-day, multiple stage music festival that will be held throughout downtown.
Tracks On Main, set for Saturday, Aug. 13, will feature 14 bands on three stages: the gazebo at the Park at City Center, the local stage on Wheeler Street behind the Chambers Street shops and the Resurgens Orthopaedics stage at Elm Street Event Green.

The festival will celebrate up and coming original music acts, headlined by Nashville-based Humming House.
“Due to the construction of the amphitheater this year, we were challenged by the community to come up with new programming that continues to promote downtown Woodstock as a live music destination,” said Brian Stockton, Economic and Downtown Development director for the city of Woodstock. “We think this new original music festival being located throughout several venues downtown will really showcase the community’s love for live music and allow visitors the chance to get out and experience all that we have to offer.”

This family friendly music festival will begin at noon Aug. 13, with Humming House taking the stage at 7 p.m.
Other musical acts confirmed are Dead 27’s, Swear and Shake, The High Divers and Alvin Youngblood Hart.
Once complete, the new amphitheater at the Park at City Center will feature tiered grass seating for 5,000 to 6,000 people, restrooms, retaining walls and a band shell with a green room. It will be used for outdoor concerts, theater productions and other activities.
