Pair Charged With More than 100 Counts of Child Sexual Exploitation

A man and woman from Pennsylvania were only in Woodstock for six days when they were arrested.

A man and woman from Pennsylvania traveling through Woodstock won't be hitting the road anytime soon.

Investigators with the Woodstock Police Department on Dec. 7 arrested Linden, Pennsylvania, residents Eric Timothy Daniels, 44, and April Gail Daniels, 26, and charged them each with 109 counts of sexual exploitation of children, the agency said on Tuesday.

On Dec. 6, the agency received a tip about possible child molestation and sexual exploitation of two girls, age 15 and five.

Duncan said information noted the two children were living in a 21-foot, pull behind camper with two adult men and one adult female, who were working at various RV parks and small farms.

The group, which had only been in the city for six days, experienced vehicle problems that forced them to stop in Woodstock as they were traveling between Georgia and Texas, the spokeswoman added.

Woodstock's Criminal Investigation Unit investigated the allegations and executed three search warrants — two in the city and the other in Acworth.

With the help of the Acworth Police Department, the search warrant yielded the seizure of several computers, cameras, hard drives and DVD/CDs which contained roughly 500 "suspect images," Duncan said.

Both suspects remain at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center held without bond.

Woodstock police will continue the investigation, and the children have been released in "the safe care and custody of a relative," Duncan added.
