Players, Sponsors Sought For Woodstock Public Safety Golf Outing

The 5th annual event, which sponsors the Woodstock Public Safety Foundation, will be held Oct. 13 at The Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm.

WOODSTOCK, GA – Players and sponsors are being sought for the 5th annual Woodstock Public Safety Foundation charity golf tournament, which will be held next month at the Golf Club at Bradshaw Farm.

The tournament will be held Oct. 13 and includes closest to the pin and longest drive contests. The entry fee is $75 for individuals and $300 for foursomes. Sponsorships are available at the $500, $1,000 and $1,500 levels.

“The Woodstock Public Safety Foundation has been a valuable partner in the effort to preserve our city’s heritage as a great place to live, work, play and raise a family,” Woodstock Police Chief Calvin Moss said on the foundation’s website for the event. “(The foundation’s) projects aid the city’s public safety team in realizing its goal of providing best in service to the citizens of our great city.”

The event will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. and will be played using a best ball format. All participants will be provided with lunch and a gift bag and trophies and a prize will be awarded to the top three finishers.
