The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. April 28 at Jared Vault, which is at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway. Woodstock officers were dispatched to the store about a half-hour later in response to the call about the robbery.
Employees at the store said a middle-age “heavy-set black male” wearing khaki pants, a plaid shirt and a caddy-style hat came into the store and looked around briefly before brandishing a handgun, Woodstock police spokesperson Brittany Duncan said.
