Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Pizza Restaurant

The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help them locate an armed robbery suspect accused of targeting a pizza restaurant.

Deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery call around 12:33 p.m. Sunday at Peace Love and Pizza at 14205 Highway 92 in Woodstock.

The restaurant is located at the highway's intersection with West Wiley Bridge Road.

According to a sheriff's office alert, a man wearing black ski mask, gloves, brown cargo pants and a white hoodie with the words "EVERLAST" written on front brandished a silver pistol and stole roughly $220 from the restaurant.

The suspect, described as a white male carrying a black backpack with white lettering, fled the scene on a yellow or light-colored bicycle.
