According to WSB-TV, the 21-year-old woman was pronounced dead after she was dropped off last week at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.

Woodstock police spokesperson Sgt. Randy Milligan on Friday said the agency’s investigation into the incident remains active and open.

“Due to the status, we can not release any information at this time,” he added.

The woman reportedly lives in Johns Creek, and her family asked WSB to withhold her identity until a toxicology report is complete, the station reported.

Her boss, Lisa Lee, told the station that she allegedly suffered from a drug addiction, a problem that “overpowered” her.

“She was the most amazing person,” she said. “She would light up any room when she walked in.”
