State School Superintendent Richard Woods on Wednesday visited two Cherokee County School District facilities.

He toured Etowah High School’s Etowah East facility, making stops in the writing lab, engineering and design lab, and world language lab, before having lunch with students.
Then, Woods made the short drive over to Boston Elementary School where he was welcomed by student ambassadors, interviewed by student reporters and stopped in several classrooms to speak with students and teachers.
