Suspect Takes Purses, Phones During Entering Auto Spree: Cops
The Woodstock Police Department is asking residents to help them identify the suspect accused of entering several vehicles.
WOODSTOCK, GA — Investigators with the Woodstock Police Department are asking residents to help them identify a man accused of entering vehicles Monday on the northern side of the city. Between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 5, officers responded to multiple calls from citizens who said their vehicles were entered into by an unknown person.
Police note a total of four vehicles at the Cherokee County Health Department Woodstock's office, Woodstock Aquatic Center on Arnold Mill Road and Rope Mill Park, were forcibly entered into while at least one was left unlocked. Purses, cell phones and credit cards were among the items taken from these cars.

Camera footage shows the suspect was driving a late model silver GMC Acadia, which is believed to be rental. Police note the tags were also removed from the SUV. While the cameras only captured only one male, detectives believe at least two suspects are involved.
