Teens Interested in Law Enforcement Wanted For Cherokee Explorer Program
The agency's Explorer Post will hold an open house on Aug. 20 at its BridgeMill precinct, located at 9550 Bells Ferry Road in Canton.

Are you interested in a career in law enforcement? If so, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Reserve Unit is seeking young men and women between the ages of 14 and 18 to participate in the department’s Exploring Post.
Law Enforcement Exploring provides educational training programs for young adults on the purposes, mission and objectives of law enforcement. The program provides career orientation experiences, leadership opportunities and community service activities. The primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career path within law enforcement and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and nation.

The sheriff’s office’s Explorer Post will host an open house from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20 at the Bridge Mill Precinct at 9550 Bells Ferry Road in Canton.
