While Trailfest always makes for a Saturday of exciting music, socializing and camaraderie, there is a greater purpose.
The event is the single largest annual fundraiser for the Woodstock-based nonprofit organization, whose task is to advocate for and fund trail-related infrastructure projects as part of the award-winning Greenprints Master Plan around the city and Cherokee County.
Trailfest draws more than 2,000 people each year. Festivities run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine. Ample parking is available all around downtown Woodstock.
General admission to the festival and concert is free. Donations will be encouraged and accepted on-site and online at www.greenprintsalliance.org/donations. Also, visit www.trailfest.org for more information.
