River Ridge 45, Social Circle 7 – With Friday’s win, moved to 7-2, according to the Cherokee Tribune, and has already enjoyed its best season on record. Knights quarterback Austin Terrell threw four touchdown passes to pace River Ridge who will not be eligible for postseason play this year.
Lassiter 30, Woodstock 10 – Two touchdowns on kickoff returns were the difference in Friday’s game, according to the Marietta Daily Journal. outgained Lassiter, and Wolverine quarterback Max Keeton threw for more yards than the Lassiter quarterback, but the Trojans punched two kickoff returns into the end zone.
