What's Open, Closed Christmas Week 2019 In Woodstock

Check for Woodstock services and offices that are already closed or closing early this week for Christmas.

WOODSTOCK, GA — Most services will be closed on Christmas, but Woodstock residents should also be aware of closures on surrounding days like Christmas Eve.

Here's a look at some of what will be open and what will be closed in Woodstock on and around Monday, Dec. 23, Tuesday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Wednesday, Dec. 25:

  • Cherokee County government will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Dec. 26.
  • Cherokee County Schools are off Dec. 23 to Jan. 3, 2020. Jan. 6, 2020 is a teacher planning day. Students return Jan. 7, 2020.
  • Municipal offices for Woodstock will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
  • All Sequoyah Regional Library System branches will be closed Monday through Thursday.
  • Garbage pick up not occur on Christmas day in Woodstock. Weekday holidays will delay collection by one day for the remainder of the week. For example, if a holiday falls on a Thursday, Thursday customers will be collected on Friday and Friday customers will be collected on Saturday.
  • Christmas is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed. No mail will be delivered or sent. Regular business hours will resume Dec. 26.
  • All banks are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
  • Publix: All stores open at regular hours and close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. All stores and pharmacies will be closed on Christmas day. Store hours may vary. Locate a store near you for specific store hours.
  • Kroger: All stores are open regular hours on Christmas Eve. All stores will be closed on Christmas day. Contact stores for pharmacy hours.
