What's Open, Closed On Thanksgiving 2021 In Woodstock
Many services in Woodstock are closed on Thanksgiving, Nov. 25, and some will remain closed Friday.
WOODSTOCK, GA — Thanksgiving may be different again this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. But something that hasn't changed is the closure of many services in Woodstock for the holiday.
While Thanksgiving is a federal holiday, some services may continue their closures on Friday. Here are the openings and closings to know on and around Thursday, Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving) and Friday, Nov. 26 (Black Friday).
- Cherokee County government will be closed Thursday and Friday.
- Cherokee County Schools are off this week from Nov. 22-26, all offices are closed.
- Municipal offices for Woodstock will be closed Thursday and Friday.
- Senior Services will be closed Thursday and Friday.
- All Sequoyah Regional Library System branches will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, and remain closed Thursday and Friday.
- This is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed. No mail will be delivered or sent. Regular business hours will resume Friday, Nov. 26.
- Banks will be closed.
- Grocery store hours vary.
