A burglary was reported Sept. 1, 2015, at a home on Burning Tree Drive in East Cobb. The complainant alleges a Wolf range was stolen from the residence.
Several months later on May 4, a similar residential burglary was reported on Vireo Bend in East Cobb. A witness was able to write down the tag number of a rental vehicle spotted in the area, which led police to Clark.

While searching Clark's residence, police found several notebooks containing detailed information about high-end residences for sale, and the types of kitchen ranges contained inside.
Police also found a stolen stove top in the search, which led to Clark's arrest and a charge of one count of burglary.
Clark was also accused of burglarizing a home in Sandy Springs in February. That homeowner was able to help police track down Clark by following the vehicle the suspect used to flee the scene.
Since Clark bonded out of jail, police now believe that he is responsible for other burglaries in which high end gas range tops were taken.
