Woodstock Named Among Best Places To Live In U.S.: Money

WOODSTOCK, GA — Money, a personal finance and news website, announced its annual ranking of the Best Places to Live and Woodstock was ranked number 31 out of 50 towns and cities.

Money analyzed thousands of different places in the U.S. with an emphasis on affordability, by collecting hundreds of thousands of different data points that looked at factors ranging from diversity and the economy to everything added by this tumultuous year.

“There is a lot to do and see in our town," Mayor Donnie Henriques said in a news release. "We appreciate Money recognizing that and mentioning how vibrant Downtown Woodstock is along with the many ways you can enjoy the outdoors here.”

Two other Georgia towns made the list. Martinez ranked no. 21 and Peachtree City ranked no. 24.

This is Woodstock’s third time to be recognized as one of Money’s Top Places to Live. Woodstock was first included in 2015. Last year, Woodstock ranked no. 17 on the list.

Recently, Woodstock was named the fifth-safest city in Georgia by SafeWise.
